We’ve taken a Nordic approach to the holiday—Alec’s been tracking down climate ecosystem builders in Copenhagen and Sonam’s headed to The Drop, Europe’s leading climate in Malmø. Did you find any climate solutions abroad or at home over the long weekend? Feeling stuck in the mud? Let us know!
For everyone in town, here’s what’s going on this week:

🎲 Understand climate change in 3 hours
When: Sat, Sep 9th from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Where: San Francisco Public Library, 100 Larkin Street, San Francisco, CA
In just 3 hours, 5 to 7 players will work together to connect causes and effects of climate change, learn about the science from the IPCC: the United Nations panel of scientists that has been studying climate change since 1988; and discuss ways to help reduce the effects of climate change. The workshop is in 3 parts: We play the game; Debrief about the game; Open-ended discussion and brainstorming about actions that can be taken to address or adapt to climate change. This event requires collaboration, so you need to be on time, I also recommend having eaten something before.
