Hi friends and Happy New Year!
Hope you all had a good holiday break—we’re back at it with a busy January. Going into this year we’ll start to see some of the ramifications of California’s new landmark climate disclosure bills and the effect of local pushbacks— Berkeley’s gas ban was recently struck down by an appellate court. There’s lots to be done, and the community is back in full force.
Here are our picks for the week
Start the week off right with 💰 All I Want is $100 Billion to Fight Climate Change in Menlo Park today (Tuesday)
On Wednesday stay on the Peninsula for the 🥂 SF Blue Tech January Happy Hour Networking in Burlingame
Head to Berkeley on Thursday for the 🍽️ January Climate Tech Potluck
Or swing by the 🌎 ClimateLink | Meetup in downtown SF for networking at presentations, also on Thursday
Wrap up the week on Friday at the Technology and Climate Impacts panel of the 🌱 2024 SIDGE Symposium at the Commonwealth Club, featuring friend-of-the-newsletter Maria João Sousa.
